Who Functional IBD Healing is for: Those new to having IBD (Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis, or microscopic colitis) or those who may have had it for a while, but are not satisfied with how they manage it.
What to expect inside Functional IBD Healing: This is a fully online and self-guided course taking your through the major foundations of healing from a functional lens for those with IBD. We will cover diet, supplements, stress management, mindset, optimal sleep strategies, exercise, and more! You will understand how to better care for your body, listen for its cues, all with actionable steps you can implement yourself. Handouts and worksheets will be included throughout the modules and an online community will be set up for all students to come together!
The goal after going through Functional IBD Healing: Using the material in this course, you can better understand how to take some control back when you have IBD with lifestyle factors that are in your control.

Hi! I'm Alexa, a functional IBD and autoimmune nutritionist, and I am here to help you heal in the presence of IBD. IBD is a complex autoimmune condition and like all autoimmune conditions, is impacted by several factors. While stress, sleep, diet, and more are known to influence our health, it can often be difficult to determine what changes exactly need to be made for someone with IBD.
I have put my knowledge from my nutrition practice where I have worked with dozens of clients with IBD (plus, I am a Crohn's thriver of 17 years) into my first online course, Functional IBD Healing.
